Anne works as a journalist in Paris and meets Alexis while interviewing him for a report. Two days later she receives a call from a man who admits he would like to start an affair with her. Both are involved in relationships; he is married with children and she has a boyfriend. Nevertheless a relationship of sorts begins between them and all because of the SMS function on their cellular phones. Their affair is characterized by numerous texts sent back and forth, which consume the lives of both involved. As with any normal relationship, there are moments of intense passion and moments of doubt and jealousy. When the moment of truth arrives, Anne is unable to face the reality of their relationship never being more than a fantasy.
